September 14, 2009 -- Version 1.8 of win|RTA has been released.
This version includes support for 120 dpi displays, netbook displays, and an optional AC-3 test signal encoder. See

October 15, 2008 -- AcoustX is now selling Seagrave Instruments' new LASSIE system.
The innovative new LASSIE system provides a way to see low frequency room modes, utilizing
an array of sensors.
August 20, 2008 -- The AM-10 microphone is now available.
AcoustX announces the availability of the AM-10 & AM-10P microphones. These microphones are useful in
measuring background noise in very quiet environments such as studios and home theatres.
March 5, 2008 -- THX and AcoustX will conduct a D2 Cinema Training Seminar.
THX and AcoustX will be offering D2 training at THX. The seminar will be held April 1-2, 2008. This
seminar has proven to be valuable to both novice and experienced technicians. It provides valuable information
on the D2 analyzer and other cinema technologies, plus the opportunity to network with other cinema

February 4, 2008 -- win|RTA Version 1.75 has been released.
Version 1.75 of win|RTA is now available. If you purchased a D2 system or win|RTA
September 1, 2006 or later, contact us to download your update. If you purchased before this date,
you can upgrade by subscribing to our low-cost win|RTA subscription service.
October 1, 2007 -- The D2 Studio Version is now available.
The D2 Studio Version is now available. This new acoustical measurement system is optimized
for small mix room and home theatre applications. It adds features useful in these smaller environments and offers cost
savings over the cinema version.
This new system utilizes a new microphone, the AM-1P. This microphone is a 48V phantom powered version of the AM-1.

Studio Version, at CEDIA September 5-9. This new system is designed to meet the needs of home theatre technical

May 22, 2007 -- A preliminary release of the D2 User Manual is available.
This early version of the manual is made available to both assist D2 users in the operation of their systems and
to get comments on what users would like to see included in future releases.

March 3, 2007 -- The DB-1 Automation Adaptor is now available. This connector plugs into the Dolby®
CP-650 or CP-500 automation port, allowing the D2 to control the cinema processor pink noise output.

January 9, 2007 -- The AcoustX AM-1 measurement microphone is now available. The AM-1 features:
High quality capsule
Excellent omnidirectional characteristics
Low diffraction
The AM-1 is now the default microphone for the D2 Acoustical Measurement System. The original CM-1 microphone is
available by special order.
December 19, 2006 -- win|RTA version V1.6 has been released. New features in this release include:
